Booksource Web Pages

While at Booksource, I’ve had the opportunity to redesign many web pages to reflect the most up-to-date branding and company direction while working within the limitations of the old website framework. I collaborated with the IT department to implement all the pages shown below.

Booksource.com Page Redesigns

Booksource.com is the main website our audience of grades P-12 classroom teachers, administrators, and lit coaches visit to learn about who we are, what we do, and most importantly, where to purchase our books.

Maintaining these pages for our customers is of the utmost importance. My main focus while designing these pages was ensuring they were easy to follow and reflected the most up-to-date branding. However, while working on these pages, it was quickly apparent that we were not in a position to update the website's core foundation and existing framework. Therefore the challenge became finding new, innovative ways to showcase the Booksource brand so that it better ties into what our customers see on our other media without changing the core framework.

Below is a selection of pages that have been updated thus far as we slowly work through updating the entire site.

Updated Pages:

  • Conferences & Events

  • Products & Services

  • Contact Us

  • About Us

  • Our History

  • Booksource Classroom

Booksource Classroom
Home Page Redesign

Booksource Classroom is Booksource’s sister site focused on helping teachers manage their classroom libraries. With Booksource Classroom, you can keep an online book inventory, track your student’s reading progress, and use the LibraryLens feature to evaluate areas where your library might be lacking.

My main goal when looking to update the Booksource Classroom home page was to condense the amount of scrolling and update the branding for users to make it as easy to follow and engaging as possible. The new-look of this page reflected the Booksource Classroom branding at the time.
